Verify a batch record

Enter the batch number printed on the vial. This page returns the structure of the documentation issued against that lot and explains what the receiving laboratory can — and cannot — conclude from it.

Built-in verification

Clear batch documentation lets buyers verify before the order, not after delivery.

Every released vial carries a batch number. Enter it below to see the document structure that will be issued with that lot — Certificate of Analysis, chromatogram, spectrum and traceability record — together with the fields the receiving laboratory will read first.

  • Identity by mass spectrometry, reported against theoretical molecular weight.
  • Purity by reverse-phase HPLC, with method conditions and column stated.
  • Lot-level synthesis, purification and filling dates, with a retained sample.
  • Documents issued with the shipment, not supplied retrospectively on request.

What the certificate supports

Four conclusions a receiving laboratory can draw

The material is the named compound

Where identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry against the theoretical molecular weight, the received material corresponds to the stated peptide rather than to a substitute of similar behaviour.

The purity meets a stated specification

A reverse-phase HPLC area percentage, reported with the gradient and column, supports a release against a defined limit.

The unit belongs to a documented lot

The batch number on the label matches the batch number on the certificate and on the traceability record, so the unit can be linked to its synthesis, purification and filling history.

The analysis happened before dispatch

Release dates precede the dispatch record, so the documentation describes the material that was shipped rather than material tested afterwards.

What a certificate does not support. A Certificate of Analysis is a characterisation document. It does not describe the effect of a material in any biological system, it does not establish suitability for a particular experimental design, and it does not replace the receiving laboratory's own validation. It also cannot tell you anything about materials obtained from another supplier.

About batch verification

Batch records are released to the purchasing institution together with the quotation and the shipment. The lookup on this page returns the document structure rather than production data, because lot values are issued per batch and only to the buyer of that batch.
The catalogue states a specification — the limit a batch is released against. The certificate states the measured value for that specific lot. A measured value at or above the specification is expected to differ from the limit.
Yes, with the certificate. Buyers assessing a new supplier normally request both the certificate and the underlying records, and we supply both by default.
Retained samples are held against each lot. If a discrepancy arises, quote the batch number and our quality documentation will describe the retained sample position and the review procedure that applies.
Provide the template or field list at quotation stage. Documentation can be prepared to match a required format before the lot is documented, which is considerably easier than reformatting afterwards.

Request a specification and quotation

Send the catalogue reference or target sequence, required purity, quantity and destination. The procurement desk returns a formal quotation with the documentation package and lead time.
